The third night

It seems like a long and stressful night to come. Waiting is the worse part. The Hezbollah has launched a missile against the battle ship that was shelling the southern suburbs of Beirut and declared full escalation. Fireworks and cheers broke out in the streets the moment the leader of the Hezbollah declared in a telephone call on TV that the battleship is now on fire.

Others, who did not cheer, are nervous. This means the night will be long. Tonight I stay home, like everybody else.

The electricity is still down, but the generator is on until midnight, not nearly enough.

I expect the bombing to start at midnight or maybe at dawn.

Until now nothing points out to an imminent resolution. All we need to do await the day and the relieving rays of sunshine.
